It covers the risks specific to my face painting services, the controls I have in place, and the legal framework I operate within as a sole trader in Victoria.

This risk assessment is prepared in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic) and Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic). It assumes that:
Any commercial venue has conducted its own site-specific health and safety evaluation.
For private events, the site safety remains the responsibility of the host/organiser.
As a face painter, I am only responsible for the safe provision of my service, including hygiene, product safety, and equipment handling.
I am responsible only for health and safety risks associated with my face painting activity.
Clients/hosts are responsible for overall venue safety, crowd control, and other general risks.
